This is a cute book that asks what mark did you leave on the world very literally. It takes an interesting perspective on this by showing Eddie the five people whose lives he changed forever. Now Eddie doesn’t really think he has done much in his lackluster life, and a lot of people can sadly relate to this. What he learns throughout the course of this book is that even the smallest acts of kindness and unintentional circumstances altered the lives of so many others as he goes through his heaven. It allows him to realize his life was worth living. We all need that kind of support. I liked this book. Like I said it is very cute and definitely a feel good story about a guy who is down on himself but has been through so much from being in the war to not having much of a family. The adventures in heaven do a great job of bringing color to his past which we don’t get much of in the beginning because he is crushed by a roller coaster pretty much immediately. Solid book, great one-liners like the quote above, and will make you think about all of the lives you’ve touched in your life.
