I read this book in one sitting. Clocking in at 212 pages it isn’t the smallest book in the world but the content moves quickly because it is all authentic. Manson’s whole view is refreshing and the entire book reads like a never ending blog. You won’t be disappointed with his views on life, because he pretty much tells you the way you were raised is idiotic which in turn makes you an idiot. Life is handed to you and sometimes it sucks, we get that. But knowing your limitations, and what you can control like your attitude are what defines you. The people that just let life deal AND play their hand are usually the most unhappy. Manson is here to tell you that you should be cognizant of this and take full advantage of all of the things in your life that you can control. For example, instead of wondering why someone doesn’t like you and thinking their perspective on you is what’s wrong while not looking at your own actions that make them not like you, try changing your actions before you make assumptions. Little changes and realizing you’re not a superhuman are exactly what this book is going for. Listen up, and be better people!
